I have this little machine, as it was (it was 3 weeks) and was absolutely a surprise. They also noted that many of the criticisms that he met a lot better than the average netbook Atom. I had the Asus 1005HA Netbook and though it may be cheaper, with more than a batter, has a smaller screen, lower resolution, without upgrading to Windows 7, not so fast. I also think that Vista works well with this Acer, and this can not be said for some desktop computers. Battery life is great (about 6 hours for a simple Web browsing and word processing) and the system is light, the battery did not persevere keyboard feels great and very thin for portability of a substantial nature.
